Stroboscopic shadows

Solving "flickering" shadow problems.

At bigger tracks you will notice that rfactor is having problems with shadows, that seem to switch on and off. Resulting in a stroboscopic effect.

To counter these problems alter the values of the clipplanes in the *.cam and scn files, by raising them in a large amount. In the *.cam file you have to do this to all the tracking camera's.

Add also the line: "MaxShadowRange=(800.00)" to the SCN file. Place it below
"GroupMethod=LinkSingle"

Also this solves the problem notably. What it does is preventing objects outside 800m to create shadows. Change the value at your own taste.
